A leading regional college approached WTWS to manage the development of a new website. This included complex integration with back-end course booking systems as well as front-end design and development.

Dealing with tens of thousands of people who subscribe to their online platform, while subject to complex internal communication processes, the client recognised the need for specialist support and delegated project management of the exercise to WTWS.

We managed the tendering process to select the right service providers to ensure the project was delivered on time and on budget. Having managed and launched dozens of websites, our experience was invaluable to the client; not least in steering the project through the many pitfalls that can arise along the way.

Each member of the highly qualified external team was appointed to bring relevant experience and understanding of the industry, enabling college staff to prioritise business as usual and minimising disruption internally.

Our goal was a website that would function considerably better than the previous one, handle a greater volume of traffic and would be timed to launch well ahead of cohort dates to avoid drastic financial consequences. The new site had to meet a range of departmental needs while streamlining the engagement tools that would improve overall user experience.
